I wake up with the help with a alarm(cellphone), after waking up I go for a shower, and it use warm water provided by geizer. I go to the kitchen and drink a cup of coffee with the help of a perculator(that use electricity to make it) I usually make a sandwich by the use of the microwave, or something. I go to class with a scooter. I stop/go at the robot lights. I swipe my student card to go in, and usually turn on computer and projector to start my work, with the lights that is on.
This is just a normal day, but there is so much to do with tehnology.
Thanks Steve Jobs
I study Graphic design, and without Technology it will not be possible to do what I do. It is amazing to think that I would not have a future if it was not for the people in the past. I am using a computer and email to do this task, and I thank the people who developed this
mechanism.

1) Attempt to define the term based on your own existing knowledge.
a) I know that the term Zeitgeist is the spirit of time, but I do not actually know what that means. I think it means that in every era of time in history there is a certern feeling(spirit) to it. For instance in the world war era, the theme(spirit) was cold, angry and death. . .
b) I first thought that it is the country Ethiopia, but clearly I was wrong. I learned that Utopia is the place where everything is perfect. It is the same as seeing a mirage(You see what you you want to see)
I don’t think this will ever be possible, to have the perfect place, because every persons needs is different
2) Define the Terminology making use of an internet keyword search and explain how it relates to design.
According to the Oxford dictionary the words are described as follows
a) Zeitgeist(German)(’tsaitgaist) a spirit, attitude or general outlook of a specific time or period, esp as it is reflected in literature, philosophy, etc.
b) Utopia(ju:’teupia) n (sometimes not captical) any real or imaginiary society, place, state, etc, considered to be perfect or ideal.
Zeitgeist relates to design in what the design consist of. The certern time it portrays and what the attitude is of the design. For instance if the time and era of a design is world war, the design should consist propoganda or something to do with the theme. The design shouts out its own personality
Utopia relates to design in the fact that there will always be a better design. Without a vision of something better, something that inspires, the chance of social progress is low; and the clearer the vision, the better the chances of achieving it.
3) Run an internet search and open the first ten relevant results
What information did I find?
How did you go about selecting the most reliable and relevant?
I opened up basically everything because I did not know what is was in the beginning, and in the beginning was everything relevant. But after I got a clear understanding what it meant, I only opened the sources that was relevant, by previewing the source beforehand. First 10 relevant sources a)
Which of the sites most interested you personally?
a) I know it is not the best site to find info, but I really liked wikipedia. It is a website that gives anyones opinions, but what I found was basically the same everywhere.

Another website a really liked, is googles own website that explains it (http://www.google.com/intl/en/zeitgeist/)
Disciplinary Art Centre explains it beautifully with pictures and images of art forms
